Slope Sistair Freeride Invitational
SLOPE SISTAIR FREERIDE INVITATIONAL- September 2nd - 4th
A slopestyle course offering a combination of jumps, drops, gaps, tables, hips, and wall rides, among other surprise features!
Riders: Go Fast’s Gale Dahlager, Air Apprentice’s Kara Bolema, Park ripper Hannah Steffans, and North Shore’s Barb Haley, are among 18 of the US and Canadian riders
Judges: Steve Romaniuk, Chris Donahue, Dylan Trembley
Entertainment: Breakdancing by BCDF’s cold crew on Saturday between qualifiers, a full buffet Saturday night before the Slope Sistair party! Mat the Alien dropping the beats by day, and a couple Whistlerites strumming the guitar and crooning by night.
Sponsors: We’ve got a ton of wicked industry sponsored draw prizes for riders and spectators including Fox Rock Shox, Hayes, .243 Racing, Mountain Cycle, and Adventurous Magazine (everything from toques to frames!).

LOCATIONS/DIRECTIONS:
Hemlock Valley Ski Area is located 8.5 miles (14 km) north of Hwy 7 from Harrison Bay, 60 miles (100 km) east of Vancouver (2 hours). From Vancouver, take the Trans-Canada Highway 1 east to Agassiz (Harrison Hot Springs exit) and follow Highway 9 through Agassiz to the Lougheed Highway 7. Continue west to Morris Valley Road, turn north and follow the signs to Hemlock Valley Resort.
