My best found tool to date: 3 foot long, 15-20 lb crescent wrench found on a roadside in France while my girlfriend and I were touring on our tandem. Also my most useless found tool, I've used it once as a make-shift headset locknut wrench in the 2 years since we brought it home.
I used to find a lot of money ($80 in one year, so maybe its not a huge amount) when I had a long commute to work, does that count?

I love found tools! It sounds kind of crazy but I know exactly where to look in my favorite riding spots. Tire levers, multi tools, folding knives, patchable tubes, pumps etc.. On the road I've scored a few screwdrivers and adjustable wrenches, as well as a small ratchet.
