Chainlove.com: Steep and Cheap for Bikes
June 3rd, 2008 by JoelGuelph
A few months back, we posted a site called Steep and Cheap, which has rotating deals on all sorts of backcountry products, with the occasional bike stuff going for 50-80% off. Well, there is now a similar site with exclusively biking products, called Chainlove.com.
Here’s how it works (their verbiage, not mine):
* We slap a primo piece of cycling gear on our site at a scandalous price.
* We sell it ’til it’s gone.
* You leave feeling like a smooth criminal.
* The gear arrives fast and you’re back in the saddle.
After the product sells out, they generally put up a new product until it sells out, and so on and so on.
I’ve picked up some nice wool from Steepandcheap.com and had no problems shipping to Canada or dealing with them in general. I’ve just ordered some bike shorts for my wife from Chainlove.com and I’ll update in the comments once we receive them.
For an idea of the types of deals, you can check their RSS feed, it’ll show the previous few deals.

hey i just saw the link from steep and cheap to Chainlove today. Looks like a decent site - almost just ordered the 4 pairs of sockguy socks for $11 bucks….!
Been watching it all day today, So far, not so good if you prefer to ride in dirt
It does seem to lean on the road bike side of things, but I did see some XTR shifters (M-970’s) go up this morning for:
“Price: $111.99 (51% Off!)
Regularly: $229.94″
You can look through the RSS Feed to see any of the deals you missed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/chainlove
Oh cool, it’s like the Woot! of cycling.
