I’ve had bad luck with plastic levers lately too. Maybe because of the cold. I like the plastic ones, since they don’t scratch your rims; however, I do keep one metal one with me in case the plastic ones break.
I can’t tell you how many times this has happened to me and once even out on the trail!
there is a plastic lever out there with a steel core, but I can’t remember who makes it…maybe you could try those out
Soma and Kool I think make some. Its only the Park do I have tons of problems with. Pedro’s has a life time warranty. You break them and you send them back in an envelope.. they send you new ones.
Probikekit have some that are fairly cheap. I picked up a set with my last order and they work reasonably well - still not as good as metal levers, but they don’t scratch the rims when I’m changing out those insanely tight studded tyres, either!
Like Arleigh said, Pedro’s have a lifetime warranty, and plus they are easily the best tire levers on the market. Don’t waste your money on anything else!
