Florida riding is beat right now. We only have about an hour of daylight after work lets out so trail riding during the week just aint happening. Half of the Treasure coast trails are under water, and the other half of them are sand pits. Go figure. I've been supplementing my trail time with 20 mile urban assult night rides. I miss the dirt :(

Hit up Nassahegan (in CT) for our regular destination for a night ride. Temps in the teens, trails had a nice grippy layer of crusty icy snow (found a few icy rocks here and there) but it was all good!

Packed the ole gps as well:

Took a couple of pics as well, too bad only 2 were sort of worth posting:

Weather has held it's usual clear and sunny here in San Diego. Only 50 degrees at the start of this mornings ride........ but rain is on the way. Here in Low SoCall, the mud/clay is ugly after rains, so we wait until they "firm up" a bit.

Here is Central Texas our problem is the spring rains, winter is actually nice since the temps are reasonable and you can go on longer rides and not worry about water issues.

Last nights ride was killer. The snow was coming down hard in DC. I took a mix of trails and roads. This morning it was all iced over at 25 F, which made things a little more tricky but no less fun. Sugoi makes some killer shoe covers!

By the way, to date, i'm at 2,096 mi mark already. Maybe it's not impressive for a year and 6 mos mileage. anyway, what's important is, with my age now (44) I'm certain I could still pedal my bike for the next 10 yrs or so.

Thou you don't recognize me yet but I'm one of them you meet on the road.....

Hi Guys!

It's kinda chilly to ride out here in Nevada. Temp is ranging around 58 - 68 in broad daylight. It could have been manageable, but the problem is if you travel about 56 miles, you need to hit the road earlier where temp is still about 36 - 45 so you'll be home before sundown . Perhaps some of you are still comfortable at this temps but me as an Asian, not anymore.

I'm kinda obsessed to keep my odometer reading increases at a regular interval but unfortunately with this upcoming freezing months, we might as well look for other alternatives to sweat out e.g. stationary bicycling (inside a gym) or some tread mill session.

Bye for now...

Since I get random weekdays off, I usually get to hit the trails whilst everyone else is at work. Rode the Marin Headlands last week, Mission Peak today. Not too chilly either.
