I wore the stanchion coating off one of my Mav's forks, in about 2000 miles (3 months), got that fixed, swapped to another pair of SC32s and the lockout's completely broken on those... I'm getting the feeling these forks aren't very durable.

Yeh,

This is the second set of seals in a year. I haven't even got that many miles on the thing. Maybe it is time for a new fork...

funny... my maverick fork has resorted to doing the same thing, and their customer service doesn't respond to their email, so i'm just going to get rid of the thing and buy another reba, or a fox, or a manitou... anything but another maverick.

it's too bad too, because when it worked, i liked the fork. but customer service is often the life or death of a company, and in this case, it's the end of the line for me with this fork.
