Interbike Update 2
September 26th, 2007 by Brad QuartuccioAnother update from the floor.
WTB continues with its trend of products the market demands. They still have the most comfortable saddles out there, and now in more colors and shapes than ever. They’ve also jumped into the locking grips games with both “ergonomic” and plain old round varieties. Also new from WTB is a further expanded tire line, now boasting the most comprehensive 29er lineup out there with the picture semi-slick for maximum speed.
Stan’s is here bigger than ever with their ultralight rim offereings and tubeless conversion systems. Pictures is ther 29″ race set, but also available this time around are some road tubeless kits… Interesting.
SE Racing also has some interesting bikes. Retro bmx OM Flyer, some city cruisers, the DJ flyer and most importantly an affordable $480 singlespeed with a deraileur hanger for those times you’d like the shifting. The Stout.
I have yet to see the rumored u-turn 29er Reba from RockShox, but I did spy this SID. Bringing back the blue.
Niner! 29″, 6+” of travel, and a one-point-five headset for maximum stiffness and minimal stackheight. Oh yeah.
Kore has moved their road locking grips over to the mountain line with these. And check those canti’s for either your retro ride, ‘cross bike or commuter with fenders.
Ergon has expanded their grip line with better integrated bar ends, and rounder grips for those of us not into the ergo offerings.
Knog has a whole line of custom-look bags. Niiiiice.
…and more to come…
