Be happy… get a bike job

March 21st, 2007 by Tim Grahl

Get a Bike JobI have launched a new site called Get a Bike Job where you can find out about the newest jobs in the bike world. Here’s the “official” motto:

Get a Bike Job is a place for cycling enthusiasts and companies looking to hire them.

There are three categories of jobs… Industry, Shop and Advocacy. Use the RSS feeds to keep up with one or all of them. Or keep an eye on our sidebar here at Blue Collar where it shows the newest ones.

So check it out, tell your friends and, if you work in the industry, tell your HR department!

    Hi all,

My name is Stewart and i currently reside in Scotland, i have lived here all my life and feel its time to move on!! I have searched for jobs all over, (web only) and can’t really find anything, stuff i do find eems to be a few years out of date!! If you know of any jobs anywhere in the US that you think would be of interest to me, please PM me.

    About me,
I am 26yrs young, and have a wealth of Biking knowledge!! I have raced all over Scotland as a junior, since then i have moved on to become an outdoor instructor, (mainly teaching canoeing and Mountain biking) I am a mountain bike leader, cytec level 2 trained bike mechanic, first aid qualified, paddlesport level 2 coach, power kite instructor and have lots of experience in leading groups of all ages and abilities. I also have a full, clean UK drivers License.

If anyone one knows of any good contacts, please do forward them on. Anywhere is good although would prefer west coast as friends and family there (LA and Washington State where my mother and sister live Smiler )

Any and all help is much appreciated,

    Thank you all

    Regards
    Stewart Mitchell
