Syles from the new collections at reduced introductory prices. This is a great way to pick up a trendy, new but cheap designer handbag.

If you're a savvy shopper, you can pick up a response comp quite cheap.... I just got an '08 or '09 model for about $100 brand new at Dick's Sporting Goods. The rear derailleur made a little noise, but they are replacing it for free.

Just picked up an 08 DB Comp Response, and I have to say this bike will do it all! Very strong through the frame and not terribly heavy I think. Any rider should appreciate this bike, tough as nails and easy to upgrade.

I picked up an '07 Response Comp from the local bike shop about a month ago. I saw the Response Comp sitting up on the stand. It was ridden intermittently by its original owner. This has been the best bike I have owned in years. I used to ride BMX, so my style is whatever gets in front of me. The Response Comp comes with all the necessities of a good MTB. The brakes work fantastic, its easy to navigate the dirt, rocks, hills and anything else I have come across. I have taken it on the streets, dirt paths, hills and rocks and it has yet to fail me. I have been transformed into a serious Mountain Biker and have put about 200+ miles on it. Fortunately I have a 10,000+ mountain in my backyard to further abuse this bike. I would recommend this bike to anyone. I'm 6' 225 lbs and this bike can take it.

Well my Diamondback Response Comp lasted about a year and a half. When I first got it,I thought it was the bomb.......Wrong! Stuff started breaking in the first month I had it. Here's the list 2 rear wheels,1 front wheel,2 crank sets,1 set pedals,1 front derailuer and hanger(broke at different times),1 set of handle bars,2rear derailuer hanger(my fault 1 crash and 1 toss over fence) And finally the frame snapped. I'm not impressed at all. Wen I started beefing everything up I was thinking the frame should be able to handle it. Nope. Now here is my set up Surly instagator frame,Shimano Saint B.B. and cranks 22-32-BG, SRAM X-0 derailuers and shifters, avid juicy 7 brakes,HALO SAS 36front 48rear wheel set,WTB mutano raptor tires, king earl os risers, and Marzocchi DJ2 fork. I'm 5'10" 290 and I LOVE TO FLY

I just bought a 08' DB Response Comp 18" frame. I am very happy with this bike, as it is much better than my 8 yr. old GT. The bike rides like a champ and is very stable on the trails. I am about 5'9", 210 lbs. and the bike pulls me great. This is a great bike that you can take on the trails and bash on.
