JensonUSA has a build kit for $525 that includes $900 worth of parts. You’ll need a frame, fork, headset, seat collar and pedals to round it out. Here’s the info from their site:

• Truvativ cockpit with XR 3D forged OS stem (4 bolt faceplate design, for 1 1/8″ steerers), Truvativ XR 31.8mm Riser bar, and Truvativ XR 27.2 x 350mm seatpost
• Shimano Deore trigger shifters, SRAM X-GEN front derailleur (high clamp, dual pull type), Shimano XT rear derailleur
• SRAM 9sp cassette and Shimano HG-73 chain
• Truvativ Hussefelt triple crank and DHLT ISIS 68/73 x 113mm bottom bracket
• WTB Laser V saddle
• Hayes HFX-9 hydraulic disc brakes/levers with 74mm calipers and 160mm 6 bolt rotors
• Shimano Deore Disc 6 bolt black hubs, laced to Mavic X117 black rims with black spokes. Rims have rim tape installed and Hutchinson Spider Airlight 26 x 2.3″ tires with presta tubes already mounted, quick releases are included with hubs
• Rubber grips

This kit is delivered in a partially assembled state ready for you to complete the build: tires and tubes are installed on rims, cassette is installed, levers, shifters mounted to handlebar, etc. Cable and line lengths complement the sizes listed above… i.e. kit with 170mm cranks and 75mm stem have cables for a smaller 15″ frame, 175mm / 105mm kit will be suitable for a 19″ frame.
