Make your own shoe covers…

December 7th, 2006 by Tim Grahl

Fritz from Cycle-Licious has posted a cool guide on DIY show covers:

Anybody who attends conferences usually has goody bags to bring home. Amanda usually donates her bags to Goodwill, but the bag from her latest trip was made of vinyl, “just right for raincovers for cycling.”

Thanks for the mention and *wow* I see I made it to MAKE Zine! I should mention that the photos and narrative come from this Flickr user.

I have been meaning to go to the surplus store and get some rubber boots
    the TOTES shoe covers
    will do some comparison shopping
will need to test what rubber boots will fit over what shoes

then pull out the exacto knife
and cut out a hole for the cleats

and if you go throwing together some article for Dirt Rag…
put in a plug for me
