About three weeks ago I received an email from our contact at Diamondback letting me know that the rear hydro housing cable was run on the outside of the seat stay instead of inside the seat stay on our new Diamondback Mission 1.

That was no big deal. I was just going to re-route the cable and be on my way. Well then I got a call from our contact at Diamondback and he said that I was going to have to ship the bike back to them. What?!!! Apparently they sanded the head tube on the Mission 1 a bit too much. It isn’t all of the bikes but they didn’t want to take any chances so I’m shipping it back. We’ll have the bike back around the middle of January, so stay tuned for our review of the Diamonback Mission 1.
