Pryme Gear Specter Gloves First Impressions
November 13th, 2006 by MikeRight before a ride a couple of weeks ago, Tim handed me some new gloves. They were Pryme Gear’s Specter gloves. I’m a big fan of full fingered gloves, even in the summer. I like the feel of the cloth covering my entire finger. I also feel like my fingers are very protected from those chance encouters with a tree or thorn bush.

The Specter gloves fit very well and I love the design. They are definitely not cold weather gloves. The first ride I took them on it was in the 40’s and windy and it took my hands a while to warm up but they did warm up. I ride with glasses so the terry cloth thumb and pointer finger came in handy when I needed to wipe some dirt. I’ve only had these gloves out once so far, check back for my full review.
Here is what Pryme says about their gloves…
2-way stretch woven spandex back, with terry cloth thumb and forefinger. Padded and stitched palm with reinforcement and silicone-printed finger grippers. TPR-molded wrist closers. Clean and simple design with an excellent fit.
