More Interbike 2006 People

October 3rd, 2006 by Tim Grahl

To continue the people post… I gotta lead it up with the Tough Girls riding team. I was introduced to Lynn and Janis by Nat Ross. We talked some bikes and business and I’m sure you’ll be hearing from them some around here pretty soon.

Also in with the cool interviews I’ve gotten to do is Bob Roll. I got to meetup with him in the upstairs portion of the Kryptonite booth and do an interview. (you can listen to it here)

Bob Roll

His partner in crime is none other then the Bitch Kittie… Jessi Pacetti. Super cool blogger chick. Read her blog.

Two of my most favorite people in the bike industry are in the next picture. Donna Tocci, PR Guru for Kryptonite Locks, and Tim Jackson (TTP as Donna calls him… you’ll have to ask her), Brand Manager of Masi Bikes.

Also, if you didn’t already know, Tim Jackson got a mention in the New York Times… here’s us paying homage to the master…

And a real picture…

This chick at the Primal Wear booth was such a diva… she wouldn’t even talk to me.

Lastly some different people I got to spend some time chattin’ with but didn’t get pictures with (and apologize in advance to those of you I forget… it’s not personal I swear)

Brent from Twin Six
is da’man. I spent awhile chattin’ with him and he’s the kinda guy we should all be supporting (not to mention his products are killer).

Gordon from Sockguy is a great guy and we spent some time flappin the jaws about 29ers and such.

Karl Rosengrath is one of the nicest guys on the show room floor and he’s workin with Hoss MTB. We’ve reviewed their products before and they are perfect for the Blue Collar rider.

Rob Reedy from my fav messenger bag company… Chrome.

The Surly guys as always…

Mike Riemer from Salsa… man that guy loves bikes and loves his brand.

Allright that’s all I can think of as now… I’m sure I’ll remember some more later but I’m headin to bed. My thoughts on some of hte products are up next.

Wow. I am completely flattered and speechless. Thank you so much for your kind words, Tim. It was great meeting you in person, too. I’m glad we got to spend some time together at different points during the show.

The photos are too fun, especially our ‘we’re not worthy’ photo. Spending time with “New York Times” Jackson is always special. :)

    Tim -
I really enjoyed meeting you! Keep up the good work and thanks for letting a smartass like me into your super cool cycling circle!
    Peace Out

It won’t be long before we are all bowing before you instead. As I’ve said before, you are quickly becoming the Rupert Murdoch of the cycling internet. You have built up a very strong network and it is amazing to me that you are planning more growth- I don’t know how the heck you do it.

Thanks for the kind words man!
