Today I wanted to do some “wandering” and talk with new companies. It has been great so far. Every one is digging the fact that we are trying to bring Interbike to the public. They are really excited about their products and love to share with anyone that will listen. What else should I expect, this is the biking community after all! You can definitely feel the “family” atmosphere in the air, if you bike at all you are in.

One of the hightlights of this morning so far is getting to talk with Anthony from Ventrue Design Works. You may remember that we posted about their new Gel-Bot sports bottle with an integrated gel bottle which makes it super easy to get to your gel and also keep those left over foil packs from hitting the ground and making the singletrack look like crap.

They have a few new products that the mountain bike community would love, one in particular is the Fuel Switch. It is a valve that lets you ride with two fluids in your hydration pack. All you have to do is switch the valve and you have water, switch it back and you have access to your energy drink of choice. They also have the softFLASK which holds up to 5 packs of gels and uses a bite valve for quick feeding.

I only have a few hours left at the show (I catch a red eye tonight) so I’m gonna head back out.
