Interbike Day One
September 28th, 2006 by MikeOnce again Interbike has awed me. This is only my second trip out to the great show and my first trip with media coverage goals in mind. We are trying to be somewhat systematic about making our way through the show this year. I think we are doing a great job so far, there are about 770 pics up already. It has been awesome to meet up and talk with our partners and other new companies this year.
I think the highlight of the trip so far for me is meeting Mark (Guitar Ted) and listening to his stories about mountain biking in the 80’s and 90’s. Tonight was the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame induction, we heard John Tomac and Greg Herbold induct Bicycle Bob into the hall of fame. A lot of what Tomac and Herbold was saying was going over mine and Tims heads but Mark was laughing and commenting on it all because he was biking during their era and knows the terminology. Being relatively new to the sport, I don’t know the history like Mark does, so I’m just trying to be all ears and soak in what I can.
This has been a great trip so far, I’m going to hit the sack so I have some energy for tomorrow. Stay tuned for more pics.

The holy trinity (C-cog, b-collar, and 29 inches) provides superior coverage for ibike, imo. Thanks! G-ted’s knowledge helps to seperate fad from innovation and helps avoid.., well, reinventing the wheel. Keep up the good work.
For sure!! You guys are leading the charge!!!!
