The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame class of 2006 includes Chris King, who started the company that bears his name in 1976; “Bicycle Bob” Gregorio, a pioneer and mechanic who was around at the beginning of the mountain biking movement; and Travis Brown, a NORBA National Champion racer. The Hall of Fame website has additional biographical information on the 2006 inductees.

Hall of Fame inductees are selected by a vote of past Hall of Fame inductees, the cycling press and current Hall of Fame members. This year’s inductees will be welcomed into the Hall on Wednesday, September 27th, 2006 at the Interbike trade show at the Sand’s Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas—immediately following the first day of the expo at 6:30 p.m. All Interbike attendees and the general public are invited.
