Hit-and-run solved by helmet strap

Investigators have uncovered a key piece of evidence in a hit-and-run case involving a Bay Area doctor.
Bradley Frazee was listed in serious but stable condition after colliding with Range Rover while riding his bicycle on Shoreline Highway in Marin County Tuesday night.

The C-H-P says it appears Frazee is at fault for the collision, but the driver of the Range Rover left the scene.

The vehicle was later stopped in Bolinas, where investigators say they found a strap to a bicycle helmet stuck to its undercarriage.
