		<description>Cork is a great idea. Following up on #3 with the o-ring. Another thing that can work instead of the o-ring, and can be used for other things is a cut-up bicycle inner tube. Save an old bike inner tube, and just cut it straight across with scissors. Make as many ~rubber band things as you want. Very strong, and you can make them with varying stiffness depending on the inner tube and how wide you make it.</description>

		<description>i use one of those rubber O-rings u get to fasten cycle computers n various bits..
i leave it on the handlebar grip up against the gear/brake levers when not in use and stretched over brake lever for those times i need to pop into the shop.

O-ring is almost invisible against the grip compared to the flimsey rubber band i used b4. :p</description>
