New York City must be made safe for cyclists
June 29th, 2006 by Tim GrahlTime’s Up! will hold a Memorial Ride on Thursday, June 29 to commemorate the three cyclists who were killed by trucks in the past three weeks and to raise awareness of the City’s failure to address unsafe conditions for cyclists. The ride will stop at the “ghost bikes” (bicycles painted white) that have been set up to mark the intersections where cyclists were killed.
