Timbuk2 Auction of Artist Original Bags Raises over $6,000

On Thursday, June 15, Timbuk2 held a special auction of Artist Original one-of-a-kind messenger bags at their new Timbuk2 store in Hayes Valley. They successfully raised over $6,000 at the event with all auction proceeds going to At The Crossroads, a San Francisco-based homeless youth program. Eight select artists from San Francisco to New York created the wearable art that was featured in the auction.
Throughout the evening, each of the bags sold at auction prices of $250 and higher, but the highlight of the evening was the raffle for a painting by former ATC client, Nicholas Coley. That raffle brought in an additional $1,000. Asqew Grill, a local San Francisco restaurant, donated food for the event.
