Tour de Georgia Creates $26.2 Million for Georgia Economy

The impact of the Ford Tour de Georgia continues to make a positive impression as a top-rated, international sporting event and as a significant economic development success for the state of Georgia.

Having completed the fourth edition this spring, an independent study found that the event generated $26.2 million of direct impact to the Georgia economy and host cities, compared to $26.6 million in direct impact last year. Over half a million spectators watched the Ford Tour de Georgia along its 606-mile route.
