American companies offer over-sized car-seats, coffins, mops on sticks to reach under fat flaps, and ‘lingerie for larger ladies’ but these specialists in ‘bariatric’ products don’t offer products to burn off the blubber. Until, that is, SuperSizedCycles.com, “bikes for big riders.”

Thats a really unique idea! This bike will motivate them to lose weight and moreover its a kind of exercise in itself. Can help not only those who r obese but also those who like to remain fit.
    Sounds interesting!

I think that this is GREAT so that more people have the opportunity to ride bikes. I do find the wording in this blurb a bit offensive, but then again, stigmatizing larger people is a popular past time in this culture.

It is a good idea, but the bikes seem very expensive….

The bikes are very expensive, but when was the last time that you bought clothes at the big & tall store? Expensive stuff, even when on sale. The extra sturdiness costs more, and let’s face it, this isn’t a high-volume market. Good idea but, yeah, expensive by nature.
