Sette Tools, Shoes and Swag

May 11th, 2006 by Mike

pricepoint
BlueCollar picked up some tools to help out with the Carver 96er build. Pricepoint is the sole carier of Sette products and they sent us thier 32 piece tools box set for the build. The kit comes with pretty much everything we need for the build. It also has a tube patch kit and tire levers that will be good to have with us on the trail. Sette also hooked us up with some shoes and swag to make sure we look good on the trail.

We ended up with:

Sette Products
Sette Torx Tools
Sette Epic Shoe
Sette Icon Shirt and Socks

are the tools in this set good quality?

They have been great tools so far. I know Tim has used them to build up the Carver 96er and has had no problems. It is definitely a great set for the price.

I’m wondering the same - on one hand I figure metal is metal. It’s not like these are under such high torque you’d worry about cracking most of them (ie craftsman sockets w/lifetime warranties), and I think 60% of your price for a park kit goes for the name. Anyone else agree? I’m liking 109 bucks for a 32 piece kit as opposed to 260.
