    Hi,
I like to ride a good bicycle. This Mercedes is fantastic. The design attracts and the technology is wonderful. But, I cannot buy a bicycle like this. Far away from the eyes, but close to the heart.
    I am Brazilian.

I was looking through my little bike collection in the garage and found hanging on the wall is a Mercedes Mountain bike with all the carbon fiber tubing, disk brakes and a suitcase that it folds into for travel.
I think I picked this up at a charity auction several years ago. This sweet bike must have less than 5 miles of street riding..That racing seat caused serious sleepy butt..
It is a work of art to look at and should be ridden hard by someone who can appriciate her qualities..Me, Im a 53 year old with a 55 year old butt. If anyone is interested, E-Mail me with a serious offer….Rick

    Rick,

Have you sold the bike? I have a 54 year old butt that has been riding around on a cheap mountain bike on Melbourne’s biking trails and could use a little etra comfort.

Umm are you all serous this bike sucks so bad…. get a real rig like a specialized my race bike would kill this thing its just something so rich pricks will buy it and look cool when they ride this down the street next to their car…. and this is probely like any other thing that they make its ment for going off road but never will see anything other than grass and the ocassional bit of dirt… so anyone that wants a real bike hit me up… and just so everyone knows I do know what I am talking about cause I have been racing for the past 5 years and have 3 different sponsors for mountain biking…peace

I think many people who buy this bike buy it because it is a Mercedes Benz, and not because they really think this is the best bike.

  19. 19 Alexknosbiks

Yea I know that witch I think is alright but then you see these people out on what they think is a trail and all they do is talk witch may boost some egos but not do to awful much. But what really gets me is why not insted of making a crapy bike and put their name on it why not make an amazing bike and put their name on it???

  20. 20 Stephen Parsons

Well, to you a custom built bike is great; probably would be for me as well, however, the Mercedes name to me means quality German engineering. I presume that anything they sell with their name on it is quality as well even if someone else makes it for them. About 20 years ago I bought a top of the line Raleigh mountain bike; it was great in the parks and woods, however, things shiny tend to get stolen. So here I am 20 years later without the knowledge you possess in biking getting back into it for health and enjoyment. And I agree with you my off road days are less than they used to be but then taking spills is a bit more difficult to recover from for me these days. So, all in all, when a used quality bike is available then my ears perk up. My 1978 Mercedes is like new, for summer fun. I hope your bike gives you as much pleasure driving it as my used car and remains in great mechanical shape so that when you need the safety you have it. I agree that a Mercedes in the Americas spell luxury, however, in Europe they spell dependability and are used as basic taxi cabs because; like your bike, they spell great engineering and in the long run are cheaper than other car options for taxi drivers. That’s my two cents worth; take care, and enjoy your off trail riding. It’s a great sport!

  21. 21 Alexknosbiks

Yes you do have a point but also if you look at the bike the suspension dosnt look to high tech and everything so I dont see a point in spending alot of money on something that freally dosnt go as those people would suspect. So those are my thoughts on this. Plus why dont they use better parts if this is suppose to be sutch a luxury bike? They could have at least used XT or X9 party insted of LX that just gets me that they would not use the best for this bike they just seemed to be kinda half assed with it.

  24. 24 justin

were the hell do u buy a bike like this i want one and cant find one

  25. 25 Saint

Dose anyone know where to get the Mercedes mountain bike in the above picture??? I think this must be a wind-up!!

I have contacted Mercedes main office in germany and they havent got a clue!!!!

This is what I asked —

“I would like to see the new Carbon Mercedes-benz montain bike with a view to buy. Where would I go to see it?? Please contact me ASAP.”

    This is what they said

“although the bike has already been communicated in some medias, it is not yet available - and there is also no real date I can tell you when you can have a look at it personally.

In the future (when it will be available) you can find it generally at each Mercedes-Benz dealer, in case he ordered it and presents it in his showroom. But we have no influence on that.

That is why I attached the brochure of our complete Mercedes-Benz Bike Collection.

You can got to your local dealer and ask for the bike.”

What do you guys think of that!!!
