The Swivel-Head Folding Bike

The Swivel-Head bikes are designed by Mark ‘Strida’ Sanders and produced by Ming Cycle of Taiwan. The bikes have full-sized wheels, fold in 12 seconds and can be rolled without the need for lugging by the frame or saddle.
The official launch will be to the trade at the Taipei International Cycle Show, 8th-12th March.
The bike uses a 4-bar link, which automatically guides the wheels together during a single fold action. The link bars are integral parts of the frame, and in riding mode are tensioned “giving tremendous rigidity and strength,” said Mark Sanders, designer of the Strida bike.
