Chrome Ranchero First Impressions

January 3rd, 2006 by Mike

I’ve been carrying the Ranchero bag from Chrome for a while now. I’ve ridden around town with it, taken it skiing and used it to haul my junk to the YMCA. The Ranchero has two huge pockets, a small pouch, a zipper pocket and a couple pockets for pens, etc. The Ranchero is very comfortable when packed to the max, the Velcro and big front clip help keep it closed when it is busting at the seams. The padding on the back of the Ranchero makes carrying the pack way more comfortable.

The straps are wide and thick to help support any significant weight that you put in the pack. I like the size of the pockets, they are perfect for carrying a laptop or clothes to the gym. I do have a hard time fitting my shoes in the Ranchero though, I think a zipper pocket at the base of the pack would be perfect for shoes, but that’s just me.

This is a great pack from Chrome. It holds a lot of crap and when loaded down it remains comfortable. Not to mention it is camouflage!
