Winter Gear from Maxit Designs

November 18th, 2005 by Mike

BlueCollar picked up some winter gear from Maxit Designs out of Carmichael, California. It is just now starting to get cold here in VA so this gear will come in very handy.

We picked up the:

Headgator 6 in 1 Headgear. It can be shaped into six different styles to keep your head warm.

Headgator
This one product started the company. The most versatile headgear ever. Stays extremely warm while blocking out the cold and wind. Headgator is a simple tube that changes quickly into 6 different syles of headwear. Made of ProMAX IV this lightweight, breathable compact garment folds to pocket size. Fits comfortably under any hat or helmet.

Hothead

Maxit Hothead
Total Protection Face Mask
When harsh weather conditions demand total face protection, athletes choose our Hothead. The warmest balaclava available, Hothead completely blocks out the cold and wind, yet it is breathable. Fits comfortably under a hat or helmet.

Bandit

Maxit Wide Bandit
The most effective and comfortable sweatband available. Bandits do not get heavy or soggy like cotton or terry sweatbands. MAXIT’s Bandit transports moisture away from the body faster and more effectively than any other material. Fabric will not fade or fall apart, and is non-allergenic. The Bandit is made of our ProMAX IV Fabric which blocks out the cold and wind, giving you maximum warmth and protection against the elements.

Z-Beanie

Maxit Z Beanie
The perfect solution for a comfortable liner under any helmet. The Z-Beanie gives you complete ear and head coverage. And, since most heat loss comes from your head, wearing it keeps you toasty warm. It is extremely comfortable, due to our “flat-seam” construction. Thin and lightweight. Also available in Body Gear fabric ( BG Cap ).

I feel a lot better about rolling out of bed at 5:30 A.M. for a morning ride now.
