Pre Work Riding
November 1st, 2005 by MikeTim and I met up at Peaks View Park this morning at 5:45 A.M for a pre work ride. Although it is still technically fall here in VA it was freaking cold this morning. I passed a bank sign that read 42 degrees. And of course I had no luck finding my Craft Base layers this morning so I hit the trail in my Hoss shorts and jersey. After we made it to the woods everything warmed up pretty fast other than my hands. The next time I head out that early in the morning I will be sporting our new chill blocker gloves from SealSkinz.
It was still dark at 5:45 so we broke out the Princeton Tec lights for the first time. They worked like a charm. I really didn’t have any problems seeing and I only had one mounted to my handlebars. We rode for about an hour and had to call it quits, work was calling, boo. It was great to hit the trails before work; it gives a better start to the day. It is now time for some coffee.
