While freeways sometimes signify blight for a neighborhood, some folks in Seattle are making the best of one.
Backcountry Bicycle Trails Club (BBTC) and Seattle Parks and Recreation are going to turn some pretty-much unusable real estate into mountain bike heaven. Ground breaks Friday, October 14th at 3pm for The I-5 Colonnade project, a 2-acre skills park in the heart of Seattle. Featuring logs, rocks, skinnys, jumps and wall rides, the park is designed to challenge everyone from novice to expert.
