Many of you are familiar with the infamous Beast of the East race being held later this month. Well for those of yo u who are considering participating in an OAR event next season you should consider helping out with the race. I just received an e-mail from Molly at OAR:

[OAR is] in need of a few more good people to volunteer at the Beast of the East. This four-five day expedition race is based out of Claytor Lake State Park, near Dublin, VA. The race stretches out over much of Southwestern Virginia (and a little bit of NC & WV too… okay, that is all I am allowed to tell!). If you cannot volunteer for the entire race, we could use you for even just a portion of the race.

Don’t forget about Odyssey’s RACE FOR FREE program! … = Volunteer credits may be transferred to a spouse or friend! … Plus, volunteer credits are good for FIVE years! Now that’s a DEAL!

So if you have been considering a race with OAR next year contact Molly ASAP….
