India’s First Mountain Biking Championship to be Held in Shimla

Himalayan Adventure Sports and Tourism Promotion Association (HASTPA) is organising India’s First mountain biking race under the aegis of the International Mountain Bicycling Association and the event is supported by the Department of Tourism, Government of Himachal Pradesh. The event spanning eight days from October 6, will cover three major districts of Himachal, Shimla, Mandi and Kullu before ending on the 14 th of the month.

India’s First Mountain Biking Championship to be Held in Shimla India’s leading Mountain bike manufacturer, the Chennai based Hercules cycles is the title sponsor of the Rs. 1.75 Lakh prize money Hercules MTB Himachal challenge. The event is being marketed and promoted worldwide by IMG/TWI. IMG/TWI will produce broadcast this event on Trans World Sport reaching 260 million households over 131 countries worldwide. IMG/TWI will also broadcast this event via SNTV. In India, the event will air on Ten Sports.
