Hoss Technical Gear
September 15th, 2005 by Tim GrahlAwhile back Hoss, the new mountain bike technical gear company, sent us out their shirt, jersey and ponderosa shorts. I’ve been riding with them a few weeks now and love them.
The shorts are freakin’ awesome. Super comfortable and casual enough to just wear around so they are perfect for commuting. The padding in them is very comfortable as well.
I’ve worn both the shirt and jersey on several rides and I definitely lean towards wearing the shirt. It’s very very comfortable and keeps me cool in the hot and humid Virginia summers. The jersey is nice to, I just feel like the collar comes up a bit high for my taste.
Here’s me sportin’ the shirt and shorts for my race last Sunday…

What tops off my affinity for these products is the retail price. The shorts go for $45, the jersey for $28 and the shirt for $20. And now with their winter gear coming out… it’s just gonna get better. I seriously look for Hoss gear to start busting into the market. Make sure you tell your LBS to stop by their booth at Interbike or hit there site at www.HossMTB.com and check them out.
