2005 marks a return to Montreal and a fresh buzz surrounding Expocycle, the official Canadian Bike Show. Here at Kona, we’ve been getting excited for the chance to raise money for the Canadian office of the International Mountain Bike Association.

2005 has also been a year of unrest in the world of mountain bike advocacy. Insurance, Trail Access, and Potential Mass Closures have all attacked the sport that we all love, and the main force fighting these problems is IMBA. The International Mountain Bike Association has fought to keep mountain biking alive and well in a world of Public Liability, Land Development, and Fear of the Unknown.

This sounds like it is going to be a fun night. Bowling and booze what a great combination. The entry fee into the Buck-A-Bowl is $150 which goes to IMBA for advocacy all around the world. This is a great cause and if you are lucky enough to make it to the buck-a-bowl, tell us about it.
