Craft Pro Long Sleeve Underwear

This long sleeved, bike specific base layer is perfect for riding in cooler to cold weather. I road with it all through the winter and into the moderate spring months and it consistently kept my temperature controlled. It also came through the wear and tear mountain biking gives without any tearing or unraveling. At a retail price of $39.99, I would definitely recommend this product when the weather starts turning cooler.

My background:
I am 5?11?, 190 lbs. My riding has been almost exclusively cross country and consistently ranges from moderate to very challenging and technical rides.
Testing Grounds:
I wore this base layer almost every ride throughout the winter and spring. I took it out at temperatures ranging from well below freezing to up in the mid 60s (F). The rides also varied between easy rides with low exertion and longer, more intense rides. I also consistently machined washed it between rides.
Performance and Observations:
The long sleeved Pro Layer performed just as expected. In the temperatures below freezing, it was enough to keep me comfortable while still not being overly hot in temperatures up into the mid 60s.
It held over a long period of time with a lot of rides. That means a lot of clipping trees and hitting the dirt. I also ran it through my washing machine many times and, apart from some miner fading, it held up just fine.
All around, the product does what it says it will do. It keeps me warm in cold weather and comfortable in moderate temperatures while being built for the wear and tear of mountain biking.

I dig the Craft base layers also. I wear them in the cool riding season. Plus, when I cross train at the YMCA in the winter month I wear the short sleeve version. Remember kids…COTTON KILLS!
