Mountain Bike Action:

American Classic initiated the filing of a voluntary recall of the American Classic ultralight cassette rear hubs for road and mountain bikes manufactured from January 1, 2005 to June 5, 2005. American Classic is awaiting final approval from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. There have been no reported injuries. American Classic believes it is important to give advance notice of the recall and provide riders the necessary information for safety reasons.
