without one of these wrenches I would have literally walked a mile or more back to the trailhead. Like someone else said, the 8mm allen is a lifesaver. I had a crank bolt come loose and pop out (luckily I was going slow and realized it and found the bolt) and used the only 8mm allen wrench in our group - on a friend’s CB17 tool. I have since purchased one

That’s by far my favorite multi-tool. I had one until it got stolen (while attached to my bike) and I couldn’t find one the next time I was at the shop.

One good thing to note is that the tool also inlcudes a 8mm allen, something many tools don’t and that is needed to tighten down loose cranks!

this tool gets my stamp of approval!

even the Chain Tool is solid!

those who travel without tools (including pump and tube)
need to learn the lesson that walking home teaches
a short ride often equals a long walk
