Today the UPS man dropped off our newest bike to review. The 505 is from Woodstock bikes out of Woodstock, GA. Currently it’s the only bike they are offering up however from checking out the specs and pricepoint on it, I’m really interested in seeing how it performs. They have a “Compare Challenge” chart where he lines up his bikes against other popular brands of similar build and componentry and shows the price difference. Running at $640 it seems like a sweet deal. Here’s the specs:
I haven’t bought one yet, but have talked with the owner. That in and of itself is remarkable. I would like to see a better fork. I am also intrigued as to why, but it’s not like it’s a big deal, there are a couple parts listed more for the UK and Europe audience. No big deal but interesting nonetheless. If and when I buy mine, I will definately give it some hard trials and let you know.
