Wingut Hyper Pack Update
May 25th, 2005 by MikeI just wanted to give an update on the Wingnut Hyper Pack. I’ve had the Wingnut pack now for about 10 months. It is still going strong. I’ve had no problems with fatigue from the pack and the light sailcloth material is proving to be more durable than I thought it would be. The zippers are still working properly and I am loving how light this thing is. It can hold quite a bit of gear and sits just right on your back. The only problem that I’ve had with the pack is that if you don’t wash it regularly it will stink to high heaven. So you don’t want to go too many rides without washing it, and if you don’t get a chance to wash don’t leave it in your vehicle in the hot summer sun. Just a little word of caution. Overall I am very happy with the performance and comfort of the Wingnut Hyper Pack.

Hehe, i got the same problem with my backpack. At what temperature do you wash the wingnut?
I had my washer set on Warm/Cold. I hope that helps.
hmm, here in europe we use the temeratures 40 and 60 degrees celcius the most. 60 is the most common where you wash your towels and cotton t-shirts. I’m looking for a backpack/waterpack that can take 60 since 40 just can’t take the smell away.
