There are two types of people in the world, according to Andrew Legg - the type who grew up with a bike and the type who grew up on a bike.

Legg is the second type.

“I grew up on a bike,” Legg said. “My passion is riding.”

Legg has built his life around that passion. He rides 10-15 hours a week. It’s not enough, he says.

“I would like to get out more. I’m just too busy,” he says in a casual southern accent, through a thick reddish-blond beard.

Legg, 30, grew up in Chattanooga, Tenn., and moved to Silt with his family when he was 11. He almost always wears a hat over his shaved head and keeps a selection of baseball caps scattered around the workshop in his store.
