Erik, I am going to have to agree with you with Euclid being too busy. That street can be scary at times. I really wish the city would even put a cross walk where Euclid and Hilscher Park meets.

Well that kinda shocks me...i was riding that exact same street...at 2:30, earlier that day.....my opinion is the traffic is really crazy there and if you arent a very experienced cyclist, you should stay off that road and get on the sidewalk....take it from me, it wasn't the drivers fault...everything happens fast on euclid , for that matter on all major streets like that....euclid street is the street i ride 3.5 miles to get to the fullerton loop trailhead....it doesn't surprise me what happened, it just brings it a little closer to home, about two miles away. If your not sure if theres enough room, find another route or get on the sidewalk, (california has it's downfalls)

What I don't get is how the guy that killed the biker gets off with out a citation?
I guess killing a guy on a bike isn't considered a "traffic citation."
