May is National Bike Month
May 2nd, 2005 by Tim GrahlMay is National Bike Month. This is all fine and dandy, but it doesn’t really effect my life any because I pretty much ride my bike as much as possible as it is.
For my celebration of National Bike Month, I have made a goal to get at least one person riding a mountain bike that has never ridden before. Sure I am always inviting people to ride, but I figure you gotta have a goals to make things happen. So that is my resolution for May.
What are you gonna do this month to help get more people on bikes?

Does blogging count?
Seriously, I’d think the word I’d get out is that using the bike for errands is great, and seems to add a lot more strength than my usual recreational schedule.
It might be that a short hop to the library or a restaurant (20 minutes aerobic, rest or eat, and 20 minutes of aerobic) works the muscles without tearing them down too far.
Anyway, it works for me.
Riding my bike to work is a great way to honor this month. Participating in trail building as well as other riding events.
Yeah, I should get back out for trail building. It’ been a while.
