Run Bike Errands

April 14th, 2005 by Tim Grahl

PedalPushersOnline.com has a program going to save you money for running errands on your bike instead of using the car. Here are their pros and cons:

Ok what are the upsides?

  1. You will get some exercise.
  2. You will save gas.
  3. You will not pollute the atmosphere with auto exhaust.
  4. You will reduce automobile congestion.
  5. You will save money, through your gas savings
  6. You will save money through special offers and discounts offered periodically through the Pedal Pushers Online Store.

Ok what are the downsides?

  1. You may have to buy new clothes to fit your new slender, youthful physique.
  2. This can be habit forming, and you may find yourself riding your bike for more and more errands.
  3. You may find yourself spending all that money you saved on gas and discounts on brand new shiny bike trinkets.
  4. You may find yourself leaning increasingly toward a car free existence.

Forget that, how ’bout always getting a killer parking spot? depending on hwere you live, running errands by bike can be way faster than driving.
