Who are these people who let their bike(s) get ‘out of tune?’ Excuse me, I have to leave. I have to go floss my cassette.

My Warp needs a bit of TLC, my derailleur needs some adjusting to make it shift like butter.

We see the same problems over and over again in our shop, too. My favorite is the people who slather their drivetrains in White Lightning, spew it all over their bikes, and add more on top of that when it looks “dry” again. Of course, not only are these bikes a total, waxy mess, but the resulting abrasive waxy sludge makes mincemeat of their drivetrains. Classic! Edumacation does not seem to reach these folks until the wallet starts to feel some hurt. Then they seem to be willing students!
