Curiak Sets New Iditarod Course Record

I came across some race results from the Iditarod Invitational race and started reading about the winner and new record holder Mike Curiak. He is a machine. He has set many records including the Grand Loop mountain bike race, the 2004 Continental Divide Race, and now the Iditarod. At the Grand Loop race he went 360 miles in 74 hours and 37 minutes. Like I said before he is a machine. I can’t find a website on him but here is what DirtWorld had to say about the Iditarod race.

This year, Mike Curiak set a new course record at the Iditarod Trail Invitational, pedaling his bike from Anchorage to McGrath in three days, six hours.
The invitational follows Alaska’s most famous trail and athletes must use their own muscle power (bike, ski, or run). The short race course stops at McGrath while the longer course goes all the way to Nome.
