Check out the April Fool’s version of Dirt Rag’s site today. Stuff I see… Issue #777 (should be like #113 I think) with an Angel on the cover, the merger of Marzocchi and Manitou to create the company Marzanitou plus the news articles are nuts.

The first thing I read on the site, without looking at anything else, was the article about SRAM aquiring Mavic. Since a) I forgot it was April Fools day and b) I didn’t notice the rest of the weird stuff on the site, I got all excited thinking SRAM was growing some more. I even wrote Michael Zellmann, the PR guy for SRAM, a congrats note on the merger and was halfway through writing a post on it when I get his email back saying it was a joke. Captain Obvious strikes again.

The one thing you gotta read is the article about Brad and Thanita hijacking Dirt Rag’s stuff to start their own magazine. Cracks me up.

Great April Fools joke guys. Got me pretty bad.
