Spring Forward
March 29th, 2005 by Tim GrahlAhhhh, back in the VA from a long Easter weekend in Georgia visiting my parents. Spent a restful weekend with my brother’s family and my parents. Also spent some time annoyed at their ancient computer with a dialup connection. Took me about twenty minutes just to check my email.
Anyway, I took the Redline Monocog up with me so I would be able ride while I was there. I got a little bit of road time in and I rode around the field in front of my parents house and let my dog chase me around.
As always I am reminded of how much I love central Virginia and have no desire to return to the heat, humidity and traffic that is Atlanta, GA. This morning I walked out the door to a beautiful sunny day in the mid 50s. Rolled down the windows, put on my shades and smiled the whole drive to work. It rained all weekend so I have to wait for the trails to dry out before I go for a ride again, but I have this excitment in my gut that it’s Spring and time to ride! Once that time change hits next Sunday, the place to find me everyday after work is on the local singletrack. Have a good one.
