Surly has some new pictures up of the awe inspiring prototype of the Pugsley. This one is painted blue, but the real things will be “Barney Blue Purple Sizzurple”. I saw this color at Interbike and it was sexy. It rides on 3.7″ tires and says, straight from their lips, “Get the F*** out of the way.” If you want to see the bigger, more detailed pics of the Pug… the First and the Second.
Man…that thing is a monster! I wonder if you can float on water with those tires?…lol
I saw the “barney” colored Pugsley’s at the Quality Bicycle Products show a couple of weeks ago. These bikes are surreal! They make you feel all goofy, like a kid when he gets his first new bike. You want to take this thing out and ride all over stuff! And I mean OVER stuff! It’s gotta be the bicycle equivelent to a monster truck. Awesome!!!!
2 months and waiting
do you know how much Surly Pugsley the bike is
Though I have not been to snow country yet, my bike shop peoples here in San Jose have told me of the Pugsley. The pictures alone are exciting. I will be riding for the next year, and may find opportunity to try it out… Depending on my timing, I may get to check out snow biking…

one brake becaue you cant go all that fast on that thing
one brake because its a fixie? I know it can be configured that way.
