For those of you in the central VA region, my local shop, Bikes Unlimited, is putting on a couple of mountain cross races in the next month. Here is the info on the first event:

The first Mountain Cross race will be held Sunday, February 20th beginning at 2:00pm at Falling Creek Park in Bedford County. Falling Creek Park is just 15 minutes away -located right off of Highway 460 West. The MTX course will consist of mostly wooded single track. There will be prizes, post-race food / snacks and refreshments. The entry fee is only $7. I’d like to race but if that’s gonna happen I got a lot of training to do in the next ten days.
