Bike Race Benefits Mt. Kenya National Park

Kenya’s national mountain bike champion, Nixon Mwaura, and returning two-time race-winner, Peter Viljoen, are among the 50 entrants already signed up for this year’s Mt. Kenya “10 to 4” Bike Challenge. Sponsored by the local celluar phone provider Safaricom, the event is expected to draw up to 200 participants. The proceeds benefit the Bill Woodley Mount Kenya Trust, which is dedicated to the preservation of Mt. Kenya’s natural resources including Mt. Kenya National Park and the Mt. Kenya National Reserve.
